SINGLE KAYAK
A Single Kayak has one seats. This kayak is perfect for the independent types or ones looking to improve on personal kayak skills. It is also good if you want to be side by side at points. The single kayaks are easier to tip than a tandem but this also only happens 1-2 times out of hundreds of boats, and almost always whilew getting in or out of the boat during launching or landing. We offer longer singles for overnight paddlers who may be covering some distance or people over 6’2” in height. We have one smaller 135 (13 foot boat) for small adults or tweens looking to paddle by themselves. Our boats have retractable rudders that may be used for added steering control especially in wind. Storage includes 2 hatches in the front and back as well as some space behind seat and on top of the kayak. All have seat back that are fairly comfortable for kayaks. They are all sit-inside kayaks due to water temp. Contact if you have special request (including if you wanted to rent my son’s boat for young kids).
